About Photosoc	English (USA)
The photography society is a relatively new society, full of enthusiasm and with a lot of ideas. Our aims are simply to enjoy taking good pictures, and to encourage our members to build upon their own photographic skills. The photography society is a fantastic place • to learn basic camera skills • to improve and learn new techniques – image editing, dark-room work etc But we offer so much more… • access to professional photographic and development equipment • opportunities to get involved in SU and other university events • the prospect of getting your own images published in Waterfront • organised trips to photographic locations, events, exhibitions. • Selected guest speakers, covering topics of interest for you. • Share your work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere • Get involved in group projects • An end of year exhibition and auction of club work To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Photosoc Archives.
Using Photosoc
To post a message to all the list members, send email to photosoc@lists.sucs.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Photosoc
Subscribe to Photosoc by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
