Just to remind everyone there will be no saturday session this sat. 1st march, because all the committee shall be at busa (as will most of the club!). This means the next session shall be on Monday 3rd March normal time and place. To clarify any confusion, the committee is no longer going to the AU dinner, so there will be a session, but voting for next years committee will still take place on the 10th march to ensure everyone can vote who wants to.
For those of you going to BUSA, we shall be meeting at the front of Fulton House on friday at 12.00. We shall be leaving no later than 12.30 so don't be late. Any problems or questions then contact me or a member of the committee. We should get back around mid-late afternoon on sunday depending on the journey and what time we decide to leave York.
I'd like to go off on a quick rant to try and emphasise to people just how important the socials are to the club. As a university club the social side is just as important as the shooting, if for no other reason than its fun to get together with some mates and have a drink, also helping the club to get on well as a team. The last couple of socials have seen a decrease in numbers, and it really depresses me when i and others put in so much effort into organising everything from shoots, to competitions to socials, only for people to not show up and not seem to care. We only have one social left this side of easter other than the funshoot on the 10th, so it would be greatly appreciated if people could put the effort in, come out for a couple of drinks and have some fun [for instance those of you who missed china china, missed out on simon smacking his own head into the table on purpose]. Anyway rant over.
Hopefully see you all on friday or monday.
Ali Kirk
Archery Captain.
