Hi guys!

I know ive written u a lot of emails about this but i rpomise this is the 
last of the poilitically minded ones!

As those of you who went to the AGM last night may know a vote has been past 
for the Students Union to spend the next year campaigning for the VC's 
resignation. I understand the frustartion of those against departmental 
closures but i just wanted to let u know what this means to us as a society 
and women!

Firstly by spending the year campaigning for the resignation it will be 
putting a strain on the Su's resources and therefore ours

It is more Likely that events that we perform at will be interupted like the 
Society Awards

Also i spoke to our new women's officer this year and she pointed out that 
how can she go the VC and ask for money for lights in Singleton park etc if 
as part of the SU she is supposed to be campaining against him!

Only forty of the prostestors turned up to the meeting last night and they 
still won, i cannot believe that this a real representation of the student 
pop? Maybe im wrong, and if i am im sorry!

BUT if u belive that those extreme protestors who came to the society 
awards, who tried to give the VC poisonned cakes (yes i know!!) or turned up 
at the VC's own home last night was were wrong (you will see im not arguing 
against the whole movement just the ones that seem to be taking it too far!) 
then could u write a quick email to
