Hi Guys 'n Girls, me again.

Hope the peeps that did the Neath Valley walk had a great time,
Sounds like a great, if somewhat muddy, walk and you really cant go
wrong with free food!
There don't seem to be any photos for last Sundays walk in the
gallery yet, so if you have some send them our way!

This Sunday (the 6th) we're walking between Chepstow castle and
Tintern Abbey, along the dramatic Wye Valley. There are some great
views, you can even see across the seven to England on a good day.
Even if its a bit hazy, there will be plenty of autumn colour!
This walk is a Grade A, and will Cost £4, we will probably arrive at
Tintern in time to have a look around the historic abbey, entry to
the abbey costs a few pounds.

We will also be signing up people for the Cefn Bryn Night Hike
(Tuesday 8th, 6pm -> Late) this week. The walk takes in Cefn Bryn,
the backbone of the Gower, and then back along the coast and though
the grounds of Oxwitch castle.
Never been on a night hike? Well its much like a day hike, but its
dark and much easier to get lost, oh and much more fun! Hopefully it
will be a clear moonlit night, but just incase a touch is probably a
good idea if you have one (don't worry if you don't, the club has a
few). Warm layers are also essential!
This is also an A Grade walk, and will cost £2, We will be leaving
from JC's about 6pm on Tuesday the 8th, Signup as normal this week.

Finally, its time to announce the T-Shirt Design Competition! You may
have noticed that all the best dressed hikers are wearing designs
from previous years. Well this is your chance to show off those
artistic skills and design the t-shirt for this year! We need a A4
sized design for the the back, and 10 x 10cm logo for the front, the
design must include "Swansea University Hiking Club 2005/6"
somewhere, so us older members don't forget what year it was from. If
your stuck for inspiration take a look at past years designs on the
web site. If your design wins you get your t-shirt free, so get your
pencils out!

That's all for now!

See you all soon!
