The earlier we book our flights, the cheaper they’ll be!</FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif">We’re heading to the beautiful Salzkammergut region of <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Austria</st1:place></st1:country-region> for 11 nights – from Monday 18<SUP>th</SUP> to Friday 29<SUP>th</SUP> June 2007. We’ll be camping (yep… in tents! No camping barns/posh chalets!) in a lovely little village called Hallstatt. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and it’s on the side of the Hallstättersee (Hallstatt Lake), surrounded by the stunning Dachstein mountains, where we’ll go hiking. </FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></FONT></FONT></SPAN> </P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif">On the holiday we can hike as much as we want – the area caters for those who want lots of challenging all-day hikes and for those who want scenic wanders in the woods or by the lake. Hallstatt is just two hours away from <st1:City w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Salzburg</st1:place></st1:City>, so we’ll probably have a day trip there. There are also ice caves, mammoth caves and salt mines in the region – all of which are worth visiting! If that all sounds too tiring, we can go swimming in the lake and relax in one of the many beer gardens!</FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt"><SPAN lang=EN-GB style="mso-ansi-language: EN-GB"><FONT size=3><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif">I’ve attached a brochure with more information about the campsite, travel arrangements, etc, including a travel itinerary. We’re flying with British Airways from Gatwick to <st1:City w:st="on">Salzburg</st1:City> (cost is currently around £85), catching a National Express coach from <st1:City w:st="on">Swansea</st1:City> to Gatwick and catching public buses and trains in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Austria</st1:country-region></st1:place>. </FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>

Everyone will book their own flights, but we can help with this. We’re also asking for a deposit of £30 for accommodation by 31/01/07. Arranging your own travel insurance is essential – it shouldn’t be too expensive though. (£10.50 for single trip student insurance from </FONT><A href="http://www.directtravel.co.uk/"><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif" size=3>www.directtravel.co.uk</FONT></A><FONT size=3><FONT face="Geneva, Arial, Sans-serif">). </FONT></FONT></SPAN></P>
