[SUMC] Upcoming SUMC Events

Hi,
Just to let you know about the Club events happening up to the end of this
year.

*MONDAY NIGHTS AT DYNAMIC ROCK*
These will continue through the exams, but we'll be travelling in cars
rather than a minibus, so if you want to come you need to sign up on the
website AT LEAST A DAY BEFORE.
If you're a car driver and are happy to give others lifts, this would be
much appreciated.  Also, if people plan to climb with someone on the night,
could you indicate this in the 'preffered partner' option, as this will help
the Gear Rep. in bringing the right amount of gear.

*THURSDAYS AT THE UNIVERSITY WALL*
These have now stopped due to the hall being used for examinations.

*SATURDAY'S CLIMBING/BEACH BBQ*
Further to last email, this will take place tommorow (9th May).  As the
tides are good, we're going to leave at 0930 from Fulton House, so turn up
at 0915 - 0920.  The cost of the trip will be £5.  Food will be provided,
but drink won't so BYOB.  As its more of a social event, theres no guarantee
of being taught to lead trad.

*PEMBROKE TRIP - 30th MAY
*On the 30th May we're having a day trip to Pembroke for some sea cliff
trad. climbing.  Will be warmer than the last Pemroke trip!  Cost will be
£7, and we will leave at 0800.  If you want to come, please sign up on the
website saying what gear you need.

*SUMMER TRIP*
After discussion and voting at the committee meeting, this will now be to
Cornwall.  Theres some really good sea cliff climbing in cornwall - and its
a lot bigger than Gower. We're going to be camping, near Land's End, and the
cost is likely to be £30.  The club went last year, and it was a really good
trip.  If you want to come please sign up, if you own a tent could you tick
the 'tent owner' option.
