Hi All

The next weekend trip will be on the 13th-15th of November up to the Peak
District. The peaks is a great place for trad climbing with plenty of
routes, and a nice range of grades. We intend to climb at the Roaches one
day and at Stanage the other.

Once a again we'll be staying in a scout hut, so bring your sleeping bags
and roll mats.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like we'll get a mini bus for this trip so the
transport will be in cars, if there anyone is willing to drive up (its about
a 4 hours or so drive) can you put so when you sign up. The club will of
course cover your petrol costs.

The cost for the trip will be £30.00.

Also due to a large amount of people pulling out at the last minute for the
Portland trip we've decided to take a £5.00 deposit for this trip. Anyone
wanting to come can you pay the £5.00 by Monday the 9th November at either
of the Monday or Thursday climbing sessions, if you can't make either of
these sessions give us an e-mail and we'll sort something out.
Obviously if you have a good reason for pulling out e.g. illness you'll get
your deposit back. The idea is that this should help us cover some of the
petrol costs if someone pulls out at the last minute.

list of stuff to bring:
- sleeping bag + roll mat
- walking shoes/strong trainers
- warm/sensible clothes for climbing - no jeans
- non climbing clothes
- waterproofs
- climbing kit

We'll stop places on the way to get some food for lunch and breakfast for
the weekend. And will most likely go out for a meal on Saturday.

Again anyone is welcome to come, as long as you are competent at belaying
and tying in, just sign up online stating what kit you need and whether you
can lead trad or not.

Best Regards
Rachel
