Happy Monday! I just wanted to remind you all of the details of tonight's
session. We will be travelling to Dynamic Rock this evening, so meet at
Fulton House (inside the main entrance on the right near the lloyds ATM
machines) for sign up at 5:30pm, the bus will leave promptly at 6:00pm. The
trip will cost £10 to cover transport and entry to the wall. It's first
come, first served, so try to get there before the bus starts pulling away.
You will need to have bought BOTH your Sport Swansea membership and your
SUMC membership to come tonight, but as long as you've done that then
you're good to go!
Our second Give it a Go! session is being held this Thursday at the uni
wall in the Sports Centre. If you didn't manage to make it to the last one,
or you did but you're still unsure, come down at 7:00pm on thurs, pay £1.50
and try a bit of climbing. The session ends at 9pm, but we will all troop
over to JC's for a post workout beverage.
If you are interested in joining the club but haven't yet, or are unsure
how to, you can join at any time online. Go to the Students' Union website:
http://www.swansea-union.co.uk/ and log into/ create your account by
clicking on the "log in to participate" button. There's a quicklink at the
top of the page that says "sports membership". Click on this to purchase a
Sport Swansea membership. Once you have this you are able to join any
sports club you like! Click on the "Activities" tab, then "Join Activities"
and type mountaineering into the search box or scroll down until you find
it. Click on that link and join! It's very easy, so since you're on a
computer/other internet connected device to read this e-mail, you may as
well join now :)
Hope to see you tonight,
