[SUMC] Day trip + gear night

[SUMC Committee]

Hello Climbers,
Just a quick email with details about this Saturday's outdoor trip and gear
night on Monday.

*Day Trip - Saturday (17/10)*
Spaces are limited this week due to number of drivers so unfortunately if
you have not yet signed up or are on the reserve list on the website we
cannot guarantee that there will be space for you. If anyone drops out
please update the signup so that the space can be given to someone else.

When: 9am Saturday
Where: meet by the cash points in Fulton House
Cost: £5 (drivers will be given petrol money)

We will be heading to Trebanog (post code CF39 9YY) and are planning to
introduce people to trad climbing but will also set up a few top ropes to
keep people busy. Don't forget lunch and some warm sensible clothing. Some
of us are planning to head back in time to watch the rugby at pub on the
pond at 4pm.

*Gear Night - Monday (19/10)*
Our Dynamic Rock trip will be running as usual this Monday with the added
option of buying some climbing gear!! V12 are setting up a climbing shop
upstairs in the cafe and will be selling a range of climbing shoes,
harnesses, belay devices, chalk bags and various other things. They will be
selling everything at a discounted rate so it's a great opportunity to pick
up some gear of your own instead of using smelly club shoes!! They will
accept payment in cash or by card. As usual meet at Fulton House at 5:30pm.
