Hi everyone,<br><br>This Saturday we'll be having a learn to lead day at Box Bay near Porthcawl (we were previously going to run this to Symonds Yat, but since the last trip to Box Bay was rained off, we'll be heading there) where we'll be teaching people how to lead trad; if you wish to learn then you'll need to be able to lead sport competently and have seconded trad before. The trip is not solely for prospective leaders, so if you want to come along to second some routes then that's fine.<br>
<br>The cost of the trip will be £5, please be outside Fulton House at 09:20 as we'll be leaving promptly. <br><br>You will need:<br><br><ul><li>Any climbing gear you need (please state on the signup sheet if you need any club gear) i.e. harness, helmet, belay plate, shoes</li>
<li>Food and Drink</li><li>Warm Clothes</li><li>Waterproofs</li><li>Appropriate trousers - NOT jeans</li><li>Appropriate shoes for the walk in</li></ul><br><br>Please bear in mind that due to the weather we may end up climbing indoors at Boulders or the Summit centre. We'll decide on the day.<br>
