As a member of the photography society last year, we need to know whether you would also like to be a member this year! GRADUATES/DON'T WANT TO BE A MEMBER I know some of you will have graduated ? well done to you! Those that have not, thank you for supporting us through the first full year of the photography society! If you could email us to ask us to remove you from our mailing list (just put 'unsubscribe in the title and leave the message body black if you want), or click on the link right at the bottom on this email and scroll right to the bottom on that page. You can also unsubscribe there. This is to make it easier for us to know how many potential members we have, and so that we do not annoy you with email that you don't need! UNDERGRADUTES /POTENTIAL MEMBERS Those of you that are still working hard at Uni, if you would like to be a member again (it's ?5) then you are welcome to come along to our bbq beach party this Wednesday 10th Oct at 7pm on the beach opposite Uni (or Pub on the Pond if it rains). If you cannot make that, we will arrange to meet you another time (probably the Wednesday after in JCs). We may also have some committee places for this year (social/events organiser/s, website and online maintenance, people to give tuition, interest-group leaders...etc!), so stay posted for that or let us know if you are interested! We have also updated our contact details. ( check it out here: http://www.uwsphotography.org/tiki-index.php?page=Club+Equipment) - You can access the darkroom on campus - We will be offering tuition and advice to anyone who wants it - We will team you up with other people with similar interests so you can share experience and go on trips (we'll help out, don't worry)! - We have lots of ideas for trips that everyone can join in with too, including local waterfalls, visiting various beaches on the Gower, PortTalbot steel works...as well as specific trips for your interest areas such as portrait, landscape, close-ups, water, wildlife...the list is as long as you make it! It does not matter whether you are a beginner or expert, have a camera phone or a professional camera ? you only need yourself (and we need you too!)
