[All-societies] Handing over your Society

Dear All,

The end of the year is almost upon us. I have to stress to you that
although you have only just come back from your holidays the time will
pass very quickly and therefore listen up!

If your society is still to hand over to a new committee please ensure you
hold your AGM within the next two weeks so as to be sure to attract the
right number of people and complete all the paper work in time.

Each new committee member needs to attend Society Basics. Please ensure
you sign up each person by coming into the Student Development Centre or
by emailing myself at naomi at swansea-union.co.uk to book a place. All the
dates and times will be posted on www.society.swan.ac.uk under training.

YOU MUST COMPLETE THE SOCIETY HANDOVER PACK. Until this is done you will
remain the account holders and the main contact for the society. Handover
forms can be found on the table in the Student Development Centre. They
are extremely important and so I must ask that you do them as soon as
possible. Once they are completed you can consider yourself free of the
society.

The Society Awards are set for Tuesday 7th June. I will confirm this
closer to the time when we have made some firm arrangements.
