[All-societies] Message from RAG and Live+Wired

Calling all societies!

 

On behalf of RAG and ENTS I am writing to you all to let you know about a
massive all-day event and gig we have planned for ST. DAVIDS DAY on March
1st. RAG week is fast approaching and to bring all the events of that week
to a climax we intend to host a live music gig in DV8 featuring a variety of
Welsh bands from Halflight to Kali Mist (ska band) to, hopefully, some big
South Wales based metal/rock bands. We also intend on hosting events all day
in JC's along with a band so you can build-up to the nights events with a
day of boozin!

 

RAG is a national organisation which raises money for many charities such as
TEENAGE CANCER TRUST, SWANSEA MIND, ST JOHNS AMBULANCE, NIGHTLINE and
DIABETICS UK. You may be more familiar with them as organising the SWANSEA
BEER RACE!! If this event is a huge success like the beer race we will be
able to donate a generous and beneficial amount to each of these charities,
plus many more.

 

So how can you get involved?? If you are interested in helping RAG on March
1st while PROMOTING YOUR OWN SOCIETY you are welcome to have a stall doing
whatever you want (within reason!!) in JC's throughout the day or,
alternatively, you can perform or chat to people outside FULTON HOUSE. All
we ask in return is that any money you make be donated to RAG.

If this doesn't interest you would you be so helpful as to simply forward an
email to all of your members about this event nearer the time if a generic
