Hi Socs,

 

Please see below a message from Kylie. In addition I will be sending out the
list of societies who have a board by the end of tomorrow. Do not panic if
you have requested one but haven't heard back from me, I was just waiting
till I had all the responses in.

 

In addition Mark Houghton has asked me to remind you that the all societies
event is happening in Jaks from about 11.00 tonight. There will be prizes
for the best dancing society as well as a balloon drop, with the president
of each society +1 guest getting in free. Pleases support this event!

INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL!

 

Dear Societies,

 

I'm writing to let you know that the Taliesin has now been booked for the
21st February for the International Festival.

 

I don't know how many of you remember the festival which Bilkisu put on two
years ago? I aim to put together a similar event. The 21st of February is
not so far away although it may seem so. I suggest as societies you start
putting together your ideas and come and let me know what you may be willing
to do.

 

I would like to arrange a meeting to talk about the festival on Tuesday 13th
November at 2pm. If you will or will not be attending please can you let me
know via email as soon as possible?

 

In the past the Societies have contributed to the festival with dances,
singing, poetry recitals, bands etc. This year there will be a fashion show
and any other ideas are welcome too. As this is an event the VC and other
pro VC's get invited to I would like to see as many societies as possible
get involved. If you know anyone who would like to get involved who are not
in any societies or who haven't received this email please bring them along
to the meeting too.

 

I look forward to meeting you all and once again please email me back to
confirm your attendance.
