[All-societies] Run Your Union!

Hello all, 

 

Just a quick message to let you know that you still have a little bit of
time to run to represent your peers as a Full-Time Officer. You have until
Thursday to collect a nominations pack from Shona (located in the General
Reception, 2nd floor of Union House). 

 

Running an election campaign is lots of fun, a useful experience and can be
great for developing those all-important communication skills! Even if you
don't think you'll win I do encourage you to go for it and give it your best
- it's not always the most popular or political candidates that win the
election! 

 

If you would like any further information, contact one of the Full-Time
Officers (Luke James, Charlotte Britton, Tom Upton, Mahaboob Basha, Eleri
Jones, Rhiannon Hedge or Dan Ryan-Lowes) or alternatively you can speak to
any of the members of staff at the SU (myself, Annie Cottam, Matt Hurst,
Shona Vrac-Lee, Stuart Rice), who can give you information about the
positions.  

 

Just to reiterate - you need to collect and hand-in your nomination pack by
Thursday.
