Greetings!

hope everyone's been enjoying the lovely weather, and if you've got revision that it's going better than mine! But, anyway, on to the important stuff...

Firstly, the Three Cliffs bay night hike on Tuesday has been cancelled due to lack of interest. Apologies to those who were looking forward to this as much as I was, it is usually a fab walk, but evidently there's a lot of studious people out there!

However, this Sunday 9th May we're heading back to the Brecon Beacons for our last walk of this year <sob!> the Ystadfellte waterfalls walk. This may be the last one, but what a way to finish! It may be stating the obvious, but there's lots of waterfalls, and even one you can walk behind, so bring a camera! This is a gentle, low level walk, a little longer than the average A walk, so we've classed it A/B, but it's nothing difficult. And at only £3.50, it's the perfect way to escape from the stresses of university when exams are (very) close! Sign ups this week as usual.

That's it, you may think? Well, you'd be wrong, cos there's still more to come, in the shape of the summer trip to the Lake District, which will be 7th to 10th June. After all the exams are out of the way (and the celebrations have finished!) this is a great way to expend all the excess energy that builds up from days spent in the library! This unmissable trip is graded C, and will cost £35 (due to the extra day). If you've never visited this fantabulous national park, then don't miss your chance! And if you have been before, you shouldn't need me to pursuade you to go back! Ok, so I may be a little biased, but it's still a great place! We still have places (although today was the official deadline) so you might just make it if you hurry. If you've already put your name down (or even if you haven't!), then we need the full payment ASAP as we have to pay for the accommodation. Details of times and so on will follow nearer the time (watch this space!!!).

Last but not least, the deadline for t-shirt orders has now passed (though I happen to know the order hasn't been sent off yet, so you might manage to get one in if you do it in the next day or two, but no promises!). They should be back in a couple of weeks (at the latest), and at least in time for modelling on the Lake District trip! If you're gonna be leaving before then, let us know and we can arrange to have yours posted to you.

OK, now I think that's all, good luck with the exams!
Sarah :)
