hello people of the hiking orientation,
Christmas ball revelry was great, so nice to have so many like minded
students revelling simultaneosly.
LAST WALK BEFORE CHRISTMAS:
9th December - Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch - Grade A1.
The commitee will be breakfasting in Uplands Diner before hand and want
you to join them, meeting at 8:15am. Normal pickup times apply otherwise.
This wonderful walk north of Cardiff gives you a chance to explore the
quaint Castell Coch, guarding the valley, before walking on to Caerphilly
where the castle shows how important the town used to be. Hopefully the
Christmas market will still be open too! (LILLEY,M (2007)jOURNAL OF HIKING

A reminder about Shropshire weekend away.
Friday 8th -> Sunday 10th - Shropshire Weekend Away (Grade B,2)
Shropshire is one of the most beautiful and unspoilt parts of Britain you
could imagine (NOT AS GOOD AS SOMERSET THOUGH!!!). It is officially the
quietest countryside anywhere in the UK, and so is definitely suited to
those who are looking to chill out from their studies for a while!
PEACE OUT
JACK.
