[SUCS] Upcoming Elections and Upgrades

The time has come to update the software on our desktops. Rather than
just close the room for a day or so, we've decided to make an event of 
it. So if you want to find out how the room "works" this is your chance!

There are two options:
1) Bring your PC along and we will help you to install Linux (Fedora
Core 3, Debian Sarge or Mandrake 10.1)
2) Help us out by installing Fedora Core 3 on one of our desktops (we 
will show you how)

All this is set to happen in the room this Friday and Saturday (12th & 
13th of November).

Also we will shortly be announcing elections for next year's committee.
There are 4 positions: President, Treasurer, Secretary and Publicity 
Officer.

Being on the committee is a rewarding experience but requires a little 
work. Positions are open to anyone who intends to be a student for the 
whole calendar year of 2005 (so this includes students currently in 
their first or foundation year). If you want to know more have a chat 
with any of this years exec.
