It's December. It's dark. It's cold. It must be time for SUCS elections!

If you have been a student member from before the 25th of November 2019 
and are expecting to still be a student in September of 2020 then you 
can run!

Nominations for positions on the executive committee, which lasts a 
whole calendar year, are open! They will close on the 17th of December 
at 23:59.

The standard rules apply; to be nominated for a position you must have 2 
other student members put your name forward, by them individually 
sending an email to vote at sucs.org. Anybody whom you nominate must have 
been a SUCS member since before 25th November 2019.

The following positions (none of them have any technical skill 
requirements) are up for election:

President - The face of the society; represent SUCS, chair meetings and 
ensure the smooth running of the society.
Treasurer - Money, money, money! You deal with where our money goes.
Secretary - You handle the paperwork and take minutes at meetings.
Publicity - You'll be our social media expert. Promote the benefits of 
joining SUCS; let the world know what we're up to!
Events - Organise gaming evenings, hackathons, meet-ups and most 
importantly Freshers' Fayre!
