[SUMC] First Aid Course 6th Dec 2012

Hey SUMC-ers

A while ago I emailed asking for interest in first aid courses, and as lots
of you were keen, we are running a British Heart Foundation Heartstart
course on Thursday 6 December 2012.

This is a first aid course that will be of benefit to you as it will give
you basic first aid knowledge that you could use to save someone's life. Of
course we hope that you wont ever have to do this on a club trip, but the
course will provide you with the necessary skills just in case.

The course will run for 3 hours, from 6pm-9pm, and costs £5. You will then
get a certificate (as this is an official qualification) that you can keep,
admire, and add to your CV if you are so inclined.

A sign up sheet will be opened tomorrow on the SUMC website, and there are
a maximum of 12 spaces available. If you are unable to attend on 6th
December or miss out on a space, don't worry as we will look to run another
course in the new year.

Please pay your £5 to Matt Riordan by Thursday 29 November 2012. If you
haven't paid by this date but have signed up on the website you will
automatically be dropped to the bottom of the list and the space will be
made available to someone else.
