[SUMC] Club AGM This Friday

[SUMC Committee]

Hi everyone,

The club AGM is taking place THIS FRIDAY (4th) in the Marino Room in Fulton
House. If you don't know where that is, here are some directions.

Go to JC's.
Leave JC's using the door by the bar - The one that isn't in the coffee
side (with nice sofas) or the one by the pool tables.
Go down the gentle ramp.
Through the double doors.
Second room on the left.

We will put arrows up in case you get lost. It is VITALLY important that
you attend as this is the only time that you can have your say about the
club this year - Feedback, suggestions, give thanks etc. And if that wasn't
important enough, the AGM is the ONLY way you can vote on candidates
whowill may
be running the club next year. If you have any questions for the candidates
you can ask them BEFORE they get elected at the AGM.

Conversely, if you want to run for a position on the committee, you can do
that at the AGM. Joe has sent a list of roles within the club that need to
be filled - don't think someone else is going to fill the positions as
everyone else will think that too. Saying that you were a complementary
committee member to a university club is a great thing to add to your CV
too...

Anyway, Joe will Email out the agenda later this week. Would be a good idea
to have a look over it prior to the meeting.
