[SUMC] AGM

[SUMC Committee]

Hey Everyone,

As most of you will have seen on Facebook this years Annual General Meeting
(AGM) will be on *Friday 22nd April at 18:00*.

The AGM is where the club members are able to decide how the club is run
next year so the changes that are made will effect everyone that is a part
of the club. At the AGM you get to change things like the membership fees
and any changes to the constituion (http://www.sumc.org.uk/documents). To
come along you don't have to be a regular you could just have come once or
twice.

The new committtee is also voted in at the AGM each year, if you want to
run for a position then what you have to do is put your name down under the
position name during the break at the AGM and then once your name is called
out you will have to give a small speech for why you should get the
position. If you are unable to make the AGM but are still wanting to run
for a position then either send an email to this account or message me on
facebok and we can try to work something out, people have run for roles via
