Hey everybody
 
As you hopefully already know this week is RAG week here in Swansea! This is our busiest fundraising week of the year, with events happening across seven days to raise money for charity.
 
Coming up this week:
 
Monday 22nd – ‘Gnoming’ on campus. Gnoming desk based in JC’s 10am to 4pm
 
-         RAG Slave Auction and CU Fashion Show in Divas at 7pm
 
Tuesday 23rd – Open Mic Night in JC’s at 7pm
 
Wednesday 24th – AU vs SU President RAG Ransom, from 10am on Campus.
 
Thursday 25th – Cake Sale in JC’s from 10am
 
-         RAGeoke in Woody’s from 8pm
-         The Vagina Monologues with Shoreline Theatre in Sin City at 7.30pm, entry to Sin Savers included: Tickets £5 from ents, £6 on the door
 
Friday 26th - ‘Gnoming’ on campus. Gnoming desk based in JC’s 10am to 4pm
 
Saturday 27th – ‘RAGs to Riches’ at Divas from 9pm
 
Sunday 28th – RAG Week Quiz in JC’s from 8pm
 
 
For those of you that don’t know, Gnoming is where a RAG volunteer, or Gnome, is paid to annoy and embarrass a chosen victim until said person pays the same amount for them to stop. 
 
At the slave auction volunteers from the RAG committee, SU and other unlucky students will be sold off as ‘dates’ to raise money for charity. Each person comes with a ‘date’ donated by local businesses such as meals for two or free cinema tickets.
 
For the AU vs SU President RAG Ransom we will kidnap both the AU and SU Presidents, and set a ransom of £250 on each of them for their release.
 
If you want to help out please get in touch; we always need more volunteers to be Gnomes, and we will need collectors to help out with the AU vs SU President RAG Ransom on Wednesday. And if you want to help out with any event please do as we could always do with it.

And if nothing else, come out, get involved and help us raise as much money as possible for charity!
