RAG WEEK!
We would just like to thank everyone who has been involved in RAG week so far, the response and atmosphere have been amazing J We can’t believe we’re nearly half way through already! But, don’t worry, there’s lots more fun to be had. Here is the line-up for the rest of RAG Week 2011 :D
 
Thursday 17th February Daytime = Amnestea at JC’s 
Swansea University’s Amnesty society has teamed up with RAG to bring you ‘Amnestea’ in JC’s Coffee Side between 9-2 this Thursday. This is your opportunity to have a morning cuppa and raise money for charity at the same time! There is also a raffle, where you could win some amazing prizes J 
 
Thursday 17th February Evening = 7pm Date Auction in Divas
This is an event that cannot be missed! You could end up on a date with any of our fabulous entrants, including our very own RAG President – Becca Taylor, and many more. Date Auction starts at 7pm in Diva’s.
 
Friday 18th February Daytime = 4pm Open Mic in JC’s
RAG is giving you the opportunity to belt out your favourite tune this Friday from 4pm in JC’s. If you don’t fancy a solo, bring all your friends and sing to your heart’s content.
 
Friday 18th February Evening = Rave ‘n’ Give at Tooters
GET YOUR GLOW ON! This Friday, tooters is turning neon, and if you want to be a part of it, just head to tooters in the brightest clothes you own. We’ll be waiting to kit you out with some glow-sticks and face paint at the door for a small donation. 
 
RAGFEST 2011
RAG are proud to announce that RAGFEST 2011 is Saturday 19th February in Fulton House Canteen between 12 - 11pm. This is an all-day event that will tick every box. RAG have teamed up with Swansea University’s Comedy Club and Swansea University’s Real-ale and Cider society to bring you this fun-packed full-day of events. 
 
We begin at midday and launch you into a music-themed day that includes Nation Radio’s Michelle Owen, live performances from hypnotist Chris Beard, Comedy Club’s finest, and local and national live bands. The fantastic line up of bands includes Kerrang-awarded Reaper in Sicily, The Kix and local Swansea bands.
 
The whole day will cost just £2, and you can either buy tickets online from Swansea Student Events or pay on the door. There will be a range of ale, cider and soft drinks available, so bring all your friends and make a day of it!
