[Hiking] leisure quest, t-shirts, penyfan

Hello hikers,

I hope all of you that went on last Sunday's walk all had fun and I hope
you're all eager to do this Sunday's walk to Pen y fan. This is a grade C3
walk and takes us into the Brecon Beacons and up a nice high mountain with
spectacular views and a wonderful pub to end the walk. The cost is £3.50
so come along to either sign-up on Wednesday or Friday in JCs quiet side
12:30-1:30pm to sign-up for the walk.

This weeks social on Wednesday takes us to Leisure Quest for the equipment
trip. So no excuse for lacking walking kit after this trip. We all meet at
JCs at 6pm where we will then head to Leisure Quest at 6:30pm to get to
Leisure Quest for 7pm. There will be the option to walk there or to take
the bus, its your choice on the day. At Leisure Quest you can buy whatever
equipment you want, as anything you buy has a 20% discount. So come along
and enjoy that 20% discount and get free wine and cheese. After Leisure
Quest we go to Yates for a drink and chat. So come along it'll be fun and
you get a 20% discount at Leisure Quest!

And finally we are now launching this year's hiking club t-shirt
competition. Every year the club creates new t-shirts and you have a
chance to design this year's t-shirt. The winning design is printed on the
t-shirts with the winner getting a free t-shirt. If you fancy having a go
then get your pencils out! We need an A4 size design for the back and a
10x10cm logo for the front, the design must include "Swansea University
Hiking Club 2006/7" somewhere, so us older members don't forget what year
it was from. Remember the designs must be original!!! Any plagarism will
result in your entry being rejected! Also the designs need to be in one
colour only for printing reasons. If your stuck for ideas check out past

I'll tell you the deadline for this competition in the next e-mail as I
don't know when that is yet. Have fun designing your t-shirts!!
