Hello everyone,

The committee would like to welcome all the new members to the Hiking club
for 2007-8.  We hope you will enjoy walking with us and come back time
after time.  We run walks of different lengths and grades throughout the
term so if this week's walk is not your cup of tea take a look at the
walks program and see if next week's is any better.

I'm Jack the publicity secretary and will be sending out regular emails
about forthcoming walks and social events.

This sunday's walk; Rhossili to Port Eynon

(on paper this walk is full but if you are on the reserve list turn up to
the coach pickups below and its likely you will be able to get on)

Pickups:
9am Uplands Spar
9.05 Student Village (bus stop by the roundabouts)
9.15 Fulton House on Campus

Grade - A1; Cost - £2.50

You will need waterproofs, hiking shoes or boots, packed lunch, warm
clothes and enough water.

Next social; Start of Term Drinks

Tuesday 2nd October

Meet - JC's Bar in the Union; Time - 7.00-late
Be there to meet other members and juct kick back.

Some of you have already signed up for the neath valley walk. If you have
not and wish to attend you can sign up in JC's evry wed and fri between
12:30 and 1:30. You will need walking boots of some description for this
walk.

Hope to see you on sunday or in JC's on tuesday.
