Hi all,

1. Wednesday Socitey
As you know Varsity is on today. If anyone would like to come out for a
social tonight (Wed) can you come and see us or email Amy on
social at hiking.org.uk. If there is enough interest we shall head back to
Whitez in Uplands to spend more time over the pool tables. Don't forget to
let us know if you want to come.

2. Sunday's Walk is Rhossili -> Swansea, Sponsored Walk Grade C1. Price £5

Bus booked at 7:30am Campus, 7:35am Student Villiage.
***Note: NO Uplands Pickup.***

Signup for this walk must be in advance : THIS WEEK!

Bring food and water with you, we may stop along the way for refreshments.

The traditional walk along the length of the Gower Peninsula is 22 miles
from Rhossili to Mumbles or 26 miles to Swansea. This walk is all along
the beautiful south coast of the Gower.

We will start near Worm's Head at Rhossili, passing Port Eyon, Oxwich Bay
and Three Cliffs Bay before arrving in Mumbles. After a quick icecream (or
Two for some) we continue around the bay to Swansea. While this walk is
the longest we do in the year, the relatively flat coastline and beautiful
scenery make this a walk not to be missed.

We encourage you to do this walk for charity and this year we are raising
money for the Brecon Mountain Rescue Team. If you don't yet have a
sponsorship form you can download one by following the link in the news
section on the Swansea Universtiy Hiking Website or ask for one at
Wednesday and Friday sign-ups.

3. St Davids and the Pembrokeshire Coast Grade A1 4th May. Price £5
Includes a historial cathedral and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park

Signups for this walk will begin this week.
