Hello!

This Sunday is our last Sunday hike! :( Sniff! We'll be heading to the stunning waterfalls near Ystradfellte at the top of the Neath valley. There are some great photos of this walk from previous years on our website... this one for example http://www.hiking.org.uk/gallery/ystradfellte05/IMG_2471 Many Alumni members will also be joining us for this walk too.
Places are limited so please come to a signup if you would like to come!

This week we'll be taking part in the university's health and fitness fair on Wednesday and Thursday in Fulton House refectory, because of this we won't be in JCs for Wednesday's signup so come and find us at the fair!

Our final two social events are a BBQ at my house in Killay on Saturday and Oritentbeering next Wednesday afternoon. The BBQ is also being attended by many past club members, let me know if you would like to come and I'll give you directions to my house!
Orientbeering is our most legendry social and is a cross between orieteering and a visit to the pub, the idea is the same as orienteering- navigating around woodland looking for checkpoints- but instead of punching a piece of paper at each point there is a stash of beer / cider / crisps / chocolate and your team must arrive at the end of the course with the correct collection of goodies! We'll be starting at 1pm from the student village because the course will be in clyne valley and it will finnish at Black Pill on the sea front. Afterwards we plan to have a meal in The Woodman.
We need to know how much beer / cider / crisps / chocolate to buy so please come to a signup to put your name down for this one. This social has a small cost of £2 each.
