Hi everyone,
Just to let you know some details about climbing over the exam period when
we get back from Easter:
*Monday Dynamic Rock trips*
We've had the last official club trip to Dynamic Rock until after exams but
you're more than welcome to go climbing there on your own on Monday evenings
during the exam period. There won't be coaches provided so if you need
transport then you'll have to organise lifts amongst yourselves. If you're a
car driver then please make yourself known if you have spaces. Also, if you
need harnesses or ropes then you'll have to contact Ed and get them
yourself. I'd suggest you all sign up on the website to sort it out.
*Thursday Uni Wall sessions*
Tonight will be the last uni wall sesh until after exams as the hall is used
as an exam venue. If you have an exam in there, make sure that you eye up
the wall and work out some new lines up it instead of writing!
We'll let you if and know when both these trips start up properly again.
Finally, you may have noticed that we carry a nice big bag of old shoes
around to all the Monday and Thursday sessions. Many of you started out by
borrowing some of these stinking hole ridden little gems (or in fact still
use them) and it's only from club members donating their old shoes when
they're a bit past their best that we have them at all. A lot of the shoes
are in a bit of a bad way now so if anyone has any old shoes that they don't
mind donating then we'd be really grateful. It doesn't matter if there's the
odd hole here n there but please keep the laces in them! If you bring them
along tonight or send us an email then we'll come and take them off your
hands (or feet ho ho ho).
Hope you all have a good Easter if we don't see you tonight!
Dave
