[SUMC] Day trip, Cornwall, AGM and other SUMC awesomeness

Dear SUMC,

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter and managed to get a bit of climbing
in! Unfortunately the end of the year is drawing nigh and we only have one
Dynamic Rock trip and one uni wall session left. But do not despair, we
still have lots of great events to cram in before we all go our separate
ways for summer adventures!

*Day Trip, 27th April*
 Our last day trip before exams will take us up to Porth Clais in
Pembrokeshire. Pembroke provides some great coastal climbing and a nice
change from the Gower! It is, however, significantly further away so the
cost of this trip will be £8. The access to the crag does require
abseiling, so if you are unsure about how to do this I would recommend
signing up to the abseil course next Weds. Sign up for this trip opens
today and this might be your last chance to climb outdoors before exams, so
get on it!

*Cornwall*
For those of you who have signed up, please note that the deposit deadline
has been moved due to the loans mess-up to next Thursday (25th April). You
must have paid £45 to Matt R on or before this date if you want to secure
your place on the trip, so don't forget! Drivers - you must also pay the
deposit by this date, but you will get £40 straight-up on the day of
departure as a starting contribution towards fuel. This is going to be an
incredible trip, and those who want a taste of what it will be like should
definitely sign-up to the Porth Clais day trip.

*AGM, 3rd May*
Our Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday 3rd May. Turn up to
discuss how the year has gone and potential improvements, stand for
election, vote for next year's committee, heckle speech-givers and FREE
SNACKS, all followed by a night out in tooters! More information coming
soon.

There will also be a casual beach/climbing day trip and a caving trip
shortly after exams so watch this space for more details.
