[SUMC] EGM and Christmas Ball

Hi everyone,

Firstly apologies for the lack of emails, hopefully most of you have picked
up on things via facebook, we had a few issues with our mailing list.

Secondly quick reminder that we will be holding an EGM to elect a new gear
rep at 6pm today in Keir Hardie 313.

thirdly  am pleased to announce that our Christmas ball will be held on the
5th of December at the King Arthur Hotel Reynoldston.

This is the social event of the year you do not want to miss out on this
one! Just ask any of our returning members who were at last years (well
most of them remember!!).

We will be selling tickets Tonight at the Uni wall. Tickets cost £27, this
includes a three course meal and transport as well as an evening of
dancing, fun and frolics!! If you have only just become aware of this and
cant make tonight to pay please get in touch and we can sort something out!

You will need to let us know your menu options when you buy your tickets
you can choose from the following;

Homemade Roasted Butternut Squash, Chestnut & Thyme Soup

Homemade Pork & Laverbread Pate with a Spiced
Apple & Cinnamon Chutney

 a Spiced Citrus Home Cured Gravadlax with Wholegrain Mustard Dressing &
Pickled Cucumber Pappardelle.

Warm Filo Tartlet of Sun Blanched Tomato,
Basil & Mozzarella with Dressed Leaves

Roast Topside of Welsh Beef with Yorkshire Pudding

Roast Turkey, Bacon Wrapped Chipolata, Chestnut
& Sage Stuffing with Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Roasted Welsh Pork Tenderloin stuffed with Apricots,
Wrapped with Pancetta served with an Apple Cider Cream Sauce

Fillet of Salmon with a Parmesan & Herb Crust
served with a Sun Blanched Tomato & Basil Pesto
