[SUMC] This coming weeks activities!

Hi gang
There's a lot of information in this E-mail so please read it carefully to
avoid disappointment ;)

*** Monday night at dynamic rock ***
Still happening, but this Monday, you'll be able to buy a ticket for
Dynamic Rocks birthday party for a discounted £2.50 price. Their party is
on the 28th (the same weekend as the north Wales trip) and will involve
climbing by headtorch!

*** Laser quest on Tuesday ***
Adams next social is laser quest! Have a read of his previous E-mail for
more details.

*** Bring a friend to uni wall night, Thursday ***
This coming Thursday is a special Thursday for uni wall goers. Firstly,
less antics involving tables and chairs will take place :( Instead, you
have the chance to bring a friend climbing! They must be a member of sport
swansea and will cost the usual £1.50. They will be your responsibility for
the night, so make sure you can teach tying in, putting on a harness and
belaying efficiently. The committee may also be bringing friends so they
won't be on hand to help!

Also, for ANYONE WITH CLUB GEAR, please bring whatever you have in your
possession to this session! It needs to be inspected and counted before it
can be returned to you. Unless its mega dodgy...

*** Day trip on Saturday ***
Finally there is another club day trip on Saturday 14th which is likely to
be a sport climbing trip, so very useful for those going to Frankenjura!
More details closer to the time, but the sign up opens on Monday.

As I'm away for the week, if you have any password reset requests, you have
until Friday might to send them in, else you'll be unable to sign up!

**** This weekends day trip ****
There are a very very small number of car drivers for this weekends day
trip to crab island / sewer pipe. To avoid disappointment, you can get a
bus to the mumbles (rotherslade bay ideally) and walk from there. Have a
look on South Wales Mountaineering Wiki for a map and more information.
As you're making you're own way there, you won't be charged the £5, so if
you have a bus ticket this is a cheap trip for you! Leaving fulton house at
10:00, so those not on reserves don't be late.

If you're going to bail on the trip, tell us! The last trip caused a lot of
inconvenience for the caving club due to people not turning up!
