[Swansea RAG]

Hi all, 
 
This is just a remindar of the raids that are planned for the near future.

The Megaraids provide accomodation, breakfast and lunch aswell paying for part of your transportation.

 

 We have a few Raids lined up for this term. 
 
For those of you who don't know what raids are, here's a definition. Raid is the act of shaking buckets (or similar shaped objects) for money in Public places. It is always a laugh and can be done in Fancy Dress. A MegaRaid is when various RAG's come together to do Raids for the same Cause.
 
Below is a list of Raids coming up:
 
22nd - 24th October 2009 - London Mega Raid - Cancer research.
We will be heading to London on thursday evening to get ready for an early start on Friday morning. We will shake our Buckets on all day friday (don't worry there will be regular breaks and Lunch). We will then meet up again in the evening to celebrate our success and return on Saturday.
 
27th-29th November 2009 - Newcastle Mega Raid - Barnado's
This has a very similar itinerary to the London Mega Raid, only Bigger. This is the largest Annual RAG Megaraid with over 100 students attending, so if you want to see Newcastle littered with RAGgies, then this is definitely a Raid for you.
 
28th November - Swansea Raid - Anthony Nolan Trust.
This is a raid at our doorstep, which means you have no excuse for not showing up. Its going to be a Fancy Dress, so feel free to have a good dig into your fancy dress bag and find something exciting. 
 
4th-6th December - Dublin - Meningitis Research.
This is our most popular Raid, its a Lovely trip to Dublin, which is thoroughly fun filled (ask those who went last year or check the facebook page for proof). We will travel down of the friday, Shake Buckets on saturday. Saturday evening enjoy the beautiful City of Dublin and Return to Swansea on the sunday.
  
These are the raids for this term, we need to know if you are interested in any or all.
